Providing a Bridge from your school to the U!

WELCOME!
The Transfer Center at University College is here to help students who are interested in transferring to the University of Utah.

Our services begin with advisor visits to various community colleges by U of U transfer advisors and continue with advising and resources to help you once you are admitted and attending the U.

We can help you:

  • Make sure you are selecting the best classes/programs at your community college for tranfer to the U.
  • Understand the application and acceptance process.
  • Understand how your transfer credits will be accepted at the U.
  • Select and begin planning for your U of U major.
  • Know resources and services for transfer students to help you make a successful transition to the U.
  • Resolve questions and problems in your first semesters at the U.

Terese has enjoyed working with student in academic advising and orientation at the University of Utah for over 10 years. As Assistant Director of the Transfer Center, she is committed to helping transfer students become successful members of the University of Utah community. Amanda Hatton
Advisor

Amanda received her BA in German from the U of U in 2004 and is currently a graduate student in the department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. Despite what you may be thinking, she is actually an employable individual. She spends most of her spare time cleaning up the destruction caused by her puppy or trying to find ways to channel his endless energy into something productive. She also enjoys running, and completed her very first marathon in April of 2005. She hopes to one day become an amazing telemark skiier, but that may have to wait until she becomes coordinated enough to handle it.
